Retro Bluetooth headset
The Goal of this project was to remodel and rebrand an existing product through advanced CAD modeling techniques, adapting it with a custom logo and any aesthetics that we wanted to incorporate, aimed at improving our CAD and rendering skills.

Process
Inspiration
I have a soft spot for cheap retro HI-Fi equipment. The Philips N6305 are easy to find on eBay for nearly nothing, but I love their dated feel.
I wanted to update this with my own embossed logos and a chunkier feel to accommodate any electronics needed to turn them into a modern Bluetooth headset.
Anthropomorphic Template
In order to focus on ergonomics, a 3D Head model is imported onto the fusion file.
this acts as an anthropomorphic template that the model can be built around.
Modelling Process
Opting to model one side and replicate it, I modeled one headphone cup and mirrored the design across the central plane before adding specific details like the USB charge port and logo sections.
This approach simplifies the modeling process and improves uniformity.
Logo Design
I wanted to keep the decal logo style from the source material, but also wanted to incorporate my own aesthetic and incorporate and embossed logo on one headphone cup.
I designed the logo to be simple but gave it a 3D feel by adding a reflection bubble.
Render Environment
to elevate the designs render environment I selected a HRDI render background, this enhances the model lighting environment and helps place the product in it's use context.
In addition to this, i rendered a model stand and record player to display with the device, contextualizing the design and showing scale
